In the Meantime

I didn't finish the St. Moritz sweater for last weekend. I wanted to wear it to an Edmonton Wolfe Tones event, but that's OK. I had a great time at the event, and the knitting time was spent on designing work.

This design work has been mainly writing, checking math, and working with Sigrun, who is a joy to work with, and who I have been learning a lot from! She had kindly offered to proofread and go over things with me, and had so many excellent editing suggestions which have greatly improved the pattern. Sigrun has a pattern coming out soon, so I will be sure to let you know how to find it when it is available.

This afternoon, I've been watching My Little Pony with my youngest while helping her with her sewing (she's making a quilt for her doll), and as I re-embroider her Faaancy sweater (I felt it would be better for both photos and for the sweater itself it the embroidery were more visible, and my Mother-in-Law had just the right colour for me to use as well). Sorry for photo quality, but the TV is in the basement.

Having finished that, I'm doing laundry, watching My Little Pony, and working on the bottom edge of St. Moritz. Or at least, getting back to that after lunch break/blogging break while avoiding Bubble Guppies. My youngest promised we could go back to ponies after this show.

Just 15 more rows to go for the border (then the neck trim, and sleeves to go)!
