Finished Toque

Last week just went by with no time at all for blogging, and am stealing a bit of time to write right now.

I just finished up a toque for a friend's little one (for her second birthday), the Color Pop! Beanie by Amanda Keeys, the yarn being Knit Picks Swish DK.  The pattern was quick and fun, but I saw no reason to fuss about knitting a flower when I could crochet one, so I did that instead, and am pleased with the results.  My daughter was willing to model:

Well, that was about it for writing time, but I have plans to post later this week again.  Sigh.  Back to folding laundry.
