There. They're done. Not much to look at, but hopefully I can get a picture of Bauer (my sister and brother-in-law's dog) modelling them for greater interest. He's a pug/bichon cross, is cute in a full-of-character way rather than standard adorable, and my daughters are quite fond of him.
Now, back to Christmas knitting, though I'm tempted to start another of the Christmas projects to cheer myself up (feeling rather blah, but mostly because of lack of sleep). I'm eager to start the Whistler 2005 hat for my brother, but as I want to give it the attention it deserves, I do plan to finish at least one other project first. I'm really quite interested in the things I'm knitting this year, but am nonetheless looking forward to January knitting, in which socks for me will figure prominently (alongside unfinished pre-Christmas knitting). I have some Claudia Handpaint merino that is waiting more patiently than I am.
