Just right for playing indoors.
So, something to play with: Here's the finished poodle that I have knit, with the pattern from Joanna Osborne and Sally Muir's
I think it turned out rather well, and its new owner is delighted.
The bits of fleece worked out nicely as stuffing, and the poodle can stand up on its own if you balance it well enough.
I'm planning to use the rainy day to get a bit further on my husband's socks, (which I think are finally working out just right this time), and hopefully some long-overdue sewing as well!
