There was chocolate, and a couple of cute fridge magnets, including Joyce, who can remind me to finish re-reading Ulysses (I'm almost through Nightown, so it's all downhill from here, even if it will still take awhile).But, more importantly, there was football gear. For my birthday, Kim brought me a pair of gloves (really useful when it's rainy and or snowy, like it was in May ), and a wee football for the girls to play with (OK, so I had lots of fun with it too).
