I finished these up tonight, weaving in the ends as the family waited for our order at the restaurant. They're not quite perfect, and as my last post stated, the first thumb gave me grief, but the second behaved reasonably well. I kept thinking I had picked way too easy or quick a set of projects, but here I was, finishing up the second pair just before the closing ceremonies. It all goes to show that with small children as a part of your life that you may end up with all sorts of time to get things done, or, they may both get colds/stomach bugs/earaches and that time disappears fairly quickly. Anyway, the mittens are done, and the kids are on the mend, so all is well.
